Review: The server was set up quickly and came online quickly. Asking a couple of questions about setting up my particular game, the staff responded well.

Review: I've used CraftAndSurvive for almost 2 years for ARK and PixARK. Getting started is fast and easy. The control panel makes it easy for me to manage my server. I've rarely had issues but when I have, someone was there within seconds to help me get things fixed immediately.

Review: I went to order a new server from CAS 2 weeks ago and noticed that their advertised prices on the search engines AND on their own website do not match what they actually charge people. I spoke with a customer support representative through their site and was told "they had to rebuild their website due to a server going down" and they "lost all their data and backups." Fair enough, still doesn't explain why their outbound advertising isn't fixed, that should be the first step in a price structure change. Decided to go back today and see if they fixed the issue, and they still have not. They are advertising a 7-Days to Die server on their main page at $0.20 per slot, however in their order system the cheapest that I have been able to find is $1.01 per slot. Everyone has "server malfunctions" and responsible businesses fix the issues. False advertising, however, is a good way to lose trust and respect as a business quickly.

Review: A reliable service. Support is responsive too. Only random hiccups here and there. I have no idea what their volume is or how many staff they have, but it feels like they are doing a lot with a few. They are doing it thought. :-) Great value!

Review: Pros: Their admin interface is one of the easiest to use of any hosting service Cons: They have significantly increased their prices and the cost outweighs the usefulness. Also their customer service is very slow to respond.

Review: I mean the host itself isn't that bad. Minimal lag and rubberbanding. The problem that I'm rating 3 stars for instead of 5. I cancelled my subscription and was still billed for the next month through paypal even after cancelling and disabling the ability for autopay. Other than that.. Great host.

Review: Absolutely outstanding service for any survival servers you need, their customer service is fast and effective. Prices are extremely competitive. I have used them for the best part of a year, across a total of three games and they have always done their absolute best to fix any issues that have occurred in a very short period of time.

Review: The hosting service is sub par. The techs no nothing of the products they are selling, giving half answers and skating questions. When setting up a server I asked for several things and either weren't answered or were answered with "I don't know". Many aspects of the server did not work. I switched to a new host and copied my server file for file and suddenly things that refused to work on Craft and Survive were working without issue. The interface that they are using is not fully setup and was thrown together as a money grab it would seem (TCAdmin). They might do better if they took it more seriously but I would say buyer beware when it come to this company.

Review: Very poorly run company, dishonest staff. We rented 2 servers from them for several months. Ark Survival Evolved in a cluster configuration. We asked them to put the servers on the same virtual machine as this ensures stability. However, they refused after multiple requests. It was maddening to talk to them (I say them, but I don't think they have more than 2 or 3 people who work there, as it was always the same 2 guys primarily who answered Trouble Tickets). The song and dance routine of trying to coax out of them the reason they would not put the servers on the same machine which would guarantee server stability can only be done justice if you were to sit and read the exchange back and forth between myself and their tech guy, and its not a light read. The servers would routinely have problems transferring characters, because their link via a cloud system would not function. This would often occur during the evening after whomever fixes technical issues would leave for the day. (I'm leaving names out but they know who they are). So we'd often have our servers unable to function as we paid for overnight since we'd play in the evening when we're off work. Finally after multiple occurrences of this over 2 months, I became rather irate and profane with them, I admit it, like I said, only reading the tickets would do justice the process I went through before I resorted to profanity. All of a sudden, NOW they agree to put the servers on the same box like we had asked numerous times, with the added salt in the wound of "there's no need for that language". Apparently, there was. And they admitted, the elusive reason was they wanted to use our servers as tests for their cloud system, which they had previously assured us was fully functional and was as good as having the servers on the same box. Clearly it wasn't, once they finally acknowledged our request and complied, the problem of link between the two servers being severed never happened again. I told them at the time, if they had of been honest, and that's the real thing that bothers me about this company, the lack of integrity, they could have been honest with us from the get go that they need our servers as a test case for their system. I'm not unreasonable, I would have been inclined to agree in exchange for a modest discount for tolerating the down time. But they chose not to be above board on that matter, which increased aggravation and honestly led me to question their mental faculties (again I cite the history of trouble tickets stemming from this issue). So it turned out, they're not crazy, they're just dishonest. I had originally put a review here on Trust Pilot about them after this incident, they messaged me and asked me to remove it citing now I have no reason to complain because the servers are now on the same box like I wanted. Against my better judgement, I did remove the initial negative review here. I now putting it back. As they double billed me for January, because unlike a half dozen other game server hosts I have done business with for multiple games over nearly a decade, they are the only one that does not have some kind of check system in place in their auto-billing to verify the invoice wasn't paid manually before initiating the auto bill. To their credit, they did refund the money, and I only had to ask them one time, but once again, no contrition whatsoever for their mistakes. Rather they chose to say that I'm the one that checked the box for auto-pay, no I had cancelled it actually. I will grant that this could be an issue with PayPal and not necessarily them, but again, every other host I have dealt with has their own method to prevent auto-billing on an invoice that has been manually paid before the auto-bill due date. I am a former high ranking admin in very large gaming community with hundreds of active members and I managed multiple servers for multiple games simultaneously from multiple hosts. C&S seemed to have been under the impression I'm gullible with unrealistic expectations of customer service because its my first rodeo, another source of irritation with their unprofessional and unhelpful staff which I could go into, but this review is already long enough.

Review: I started to have my server with u guys. Within the first week, your machine crashed, and even staying down, not able to start again. Blaming the customeris that i have seen from u guys. Instead of blaming the customer you guys should have look into the machine, and then start writing to the customer. I am really disappointed, not even worth my time or money.

(2.1) Prerequisites - Hardware
You will need at last 4GB to 6GB memory RAM minimum, a vanilla Rust dedicated server without any players take around that amount of memory, the maximum memory recommend it’s based on the number of players you will have, the number and type of mods you use and how much you boost and adjust your server settings. We also recommend having a CPU clock at with at last 3.2Ghz for optimal performance, below you can find a table with estimated values on the hardware requires Vs server setup.
SERVER WITHOUT PLUGINS
SERVER WITH PLUGINS
|30-60||3.0Ghz - 4/6GB||3.0Ghz - 6/8GB|
|60-100||3.0Ghz - 6/8GB||3.2Ghz - 8/10GB|
|100-200||3.2/3.4Ghz - 8/10GB||3.6/3.8Ghz - 10/12GB|
|+200||4.0Ghz - 12GB||4.0+Ghz - 12+GB|
Results are estimated values tested under normal conditions on Windows Server 2012/2016, values may vary between different hardware specifications, O.S. or Linux distributions.
